Art Director

Most people know it when they see it. You already see it in your head. Maybe it started with your fifth-grade sticker collection or from the number of times you’ve doodled the human eye, but your creativity is off the charts. And you bring people together like a sheet of pizza. Gelia needs you. We’re looking for an Art Director to bring our creative to life.

Qualifications:

• ~2-5 years of agency/ad school/on-the-job experience
• Related degree preferred but not absolutely required
• Ability to design for digital platforms (e.g., MySpace or Friendster. No Xanga!)
• Bonus points for video/motion media experience (i.e., making said designs move)
• Bonus points x2 for package design
• Ability to learn new processes, programs and technologies quickly and thoroughly
• Knack for working with a team or putting it on your back.
• Strong communication skills (Do you actually read your email?)
• Maturity to accept and respond positively to critiques (“You call that a layout?! Ha!”)
• Ability to work within our company culture and team environment is essential
• Interpersonal, intrapersonal, highly personable and aspirational presentation skills
• Capable of working with multiple peers across multiple offices in multiple locations
• Appetite for collaboration with an ongoing tenacity to continue to learn and grow
• Must include link to portfolio and/or proof-of-work showcasing things that look nice and function even nicer
