Director of Project Management

Gelia, a top 10 B2B marketing communications agency in the US, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Project Management to oversee and manage our project management department. The Director of Project Management will be responsible for developing and implementing effective project management processes and leading the project management team towards the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective project management processes to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.
• Create project plans and schedules, set project goals and objectives, and manage project resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure effective communication with team members throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project management tools, templates, and processes that align with industry standards and best practices.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams, clients, and vendor partners.
• Lead and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure team members are equipped to deliver high-quality work.
• Oversee the performance of the project management department, monitor key metrics, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Work closely with other department heads and senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with the agency's goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with project management policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in project management, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards success.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish, with a focus on delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Advantage software experience a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Knowledge of project management software, tools, and methodologies, with experience in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience in the advertising, marketing, or creative industry is a plus.
