Web & Digital Experience Developer

Gelia, a top 15 B2B marketing communications agency in the US with offices in Buffalo, NY and Raleigh, NC, is seeking candidates for a Web & Digital Experience Developer who can bring both technical skills and creative thinking to help us build, maintain, and improve websites, marketing automation, and other digital assets for a variety of clients. You’ll work closely with creative, account service, digital services, and other developers to turn concepts into functional, responsive, and engaging experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, AEM, Shopify).
• Build, optimize, and manage email and marketing automation campaigns using platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or Marketo.
• Translate design mockups and wireframes into responsive, accessible, and Performant front-end code.
• Collaborate with UX/UI strategists and content teams to optimize user experiences.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve website or email performance issues.
• Implement tracking scripts and tag integrations (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel).
• Ensure web and email properties are secure, SEO-friendly, and compliant with best practices (including ADA).
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development workflows.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of web development experience, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Vanilla, jQuery, or frameworks like React).
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, AEM, or Drupal.
• Experience with email marketing automation and campaign management (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo).
• Understanding of responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification is a plus.
• Experience with headless CMS or JAM stack frameworks (e.g., Content Stack, Gatsby).
• Familiarity with basic back-end concepts (PHP, Node.js, or databases).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), SEO technical fundamentals, and email deliverability best practices.

Salary Range:

• $60,000 - $70,000
